Choosing your Dress Customization Tier:

At Trotter Bridal, customization is an art form. Our in-house customization tiers invite you to tailor your gown — with bespoke imagery — resulting in a gown that feels deeply personal, effortlessly elegant, and distinctly your own. Choose a tier from below that best encapsulates your dream wedding dress.

The Timeless Essentials

Rooted in elegance, The Timeless Essentials celebrates the beauty of refined craftsmanship. Each gown begins with our signature silhouettes, handcrafted from sumptuous velvet and exquisite fabrics. From there, personalize your gown sleeve options and velvet-covered buttons, transforming a signature piece into a timeless design that feels beautifully, unmistakably yours. *This tier has no customization on the gown train.

The Signature Touch

Elevate your gown with The Signature Touch, where artistry meets elegance. Select from a curated collection of hand-drawn train patterns inspired by vintage motifs, architectural periods, and compositions of Dark and Light from our atelier’s signature style. This tier allows you to enhance your gown with a unique statement that is beautifully crafted to complement your unique vision. *This tier uses in-house designs to customize your gown train.

The Storyteller’s Edition

Every love story is one-of-a-kind — and your gown should be too. With The Storyteller’s Edition, the gown’s train becomes a canvas for your personal narrative. From meaningful imagery to symbolic patterns, we work with you to weave elements of your heritage, traditions, love story, and journey into the design. The result is a gown that captures timeless elegance while celebrating the romance of your unique love story. *This tier is custom-made for you for the gown train, or select sections of the gown.

The Lovers Experience

For the bride who dreams of a gown unlike any other, The Lovers Experience is an intimate, fully bespoke journey. From the very first sketch to the final fitting, we collaborate closely to bring your vision to life. Every detail — from silhouette and fabric to personalized imagery — is crafted to embody your love story in its truest form. The result is a one-of-a-kind gown that celebrates not just your day, but the timeless bond you share. *This tier is custom-made for you, with the Full Dress being custom (Based on existing collection designs)

Once your purchase has been processed, our Designer will be in touch to finalize your dress details. If you have any questions about the customizations, our designer would love to answer your questions beforehand.

Care

Fabric Care

Each gown from Trotter Bridal & Atelier is
crafted with the intention of becoming an heirloom. To preserve its beauty for
years to come, proper care is essential:

  • Velvet & Devoré: These fabrics are delicate and
should never be exposed to direct heat or steam, which can permanently
crush or distort the pile. Avoid aggressive pressing; instead, use light
steaming from a distance or professional care. Always store in a breathable
    garment bag
—never plastic—to allow the fabric to breathe and prevent
    moisture build-up.
  • Silk Charmeuse: This fabric requires
professional dry cleaning only. Choose a trusted cleaner who specializes
in bridal or couture garments to ensure its lustrous finish remains
    intact.
  • Storage & Handling: Hang your gown from the interior
    loops
sewn inside the garment, not from the straps, to protect its
structure and prevent stretching. Keep your gown in a cool, dry place away
from direct sunlight to avoid fading or fabric damage over time. For
long-term storage, placing your gown into a professional preservation
    box
will best protect its appearance, keeping it safeguarded for years
    to come.

For those wishing to invest in long-term preservation, we
recommend:

Both companies provide museum-grade preservation boxes and
breathable garment bags to ensure your gown remains as timeless as the story it
was created to tell.
